With a new case covering and chrome fittings this violet wand looks stunning. A black faux leather heavy duty covering has been used. The interior purple velvet is also new but follows the design of the original which dated from around 1930!

The control unit is make of a dark brown bakelite and can be removed from the case. It has two controls.

• The left hand dial controls a rheostat so power can range from moderately low to high

• The right hand dial controls the contact breakers - low to high buzz (low to high power

Naturally we have restored and fully checked the electrics and brought them up to the highest possible standards for a unit of this age. Internal wiring has been double insulated, good cable retention (push in / pull out) for both the mains and hand set cables - new capacitor - and re tuned and cleaned up the unit.
